How to Hatch Snail Eggs Successfully in Snail Rearing

In snail rearing business also known as snail farming business, there are different types of eggs laid by snails (snail eggs). AF snails lay about 100 to 200 eggs in one lay. AM snails lay about 4 to 20 big yellowish lemon green eggs in one batch AA snails lay about 100 to 200 small eggs in one batch.

Now going back to the main topic of the day which is how to hatch snail eggs successfully, the AF and AA eggs take lesser time frame to hatch than AM eggs do. To hatch snail eggs in snail rearing, you have to observe the following:

Step 1: Once you notice eggs in your snail pens or house, get a plastic spoon and a bowl and gently scoop the eggs into the bowl. The essence of using the plastic spoon is to avoid damaging the eggs.

Step 2: Once the eggs are in the bowl, cover them with few soil. Keep the soil moist and the cover the bowl. Keep the bowl in a room or kitchen shelves or table. This is to make room temperature aid in the hatching of the eggs.

Step 3: Make sure you keep the soil moist always but not waterlogged. Once in two days, sprinkle water on the soil. Doing this will make the eggs hatch with time.

Step 4: Always check your eggs daily and try to perforate the lid of your bowl in order for there to be air for the hatchlings (baby snails or newly hatched snails) when the eggs start to hatch.

Note that AF and AA snails eggs take just 2 weeks to 1 month to hatch, while AM snail eggs take 30 days to 60 days or more in few cases to hatch.

Step 5: You can also leave the eggs in their natural pen or farm. Just bury them in the soil and be monitoring it till it hatches.
