Hello Sir/Ma’am, thanks for reaching out to us.
To answer your questions accordingly;
1. Wambugu apples are cultivate through the use of Grafted Wambugu Apple Seedlings, and not seeds.
Below is the image of what grafted wambugu apple seedlings looks like.
2. The cost per unit of the Wambugu apple seedlings depends on certain factors such as your location, delivery method, among others.
3. The quantity of wambugu apple seedlings to be planted per hectare of land (15 plots of land) depends on the spacing you used as the farmer, although I will recommend that the apples be planted in holes that are 60cm wide and 60cm deep, using a spacing of 3m by 3m during the planting.

Agric4ProfitsAdministratorHello Alina, Glad to have you here.
Here are the answers to your questions following their order of arrangements:
1. How many suckers of plantain should I plant on a plot of land? I’m in Nigeria
The recommended spacing is 3m between the plantain rows and 2m within the row (in other words 3m x 2m). You can also use 2.5m x 2.5m as an alternative depending on your choice as the farmer. However, if spaced at 3m x 2m then 1 hectare of farmland which contains 15 plots of land should contain 1667 plants, but with a spacing of 2.5m x 2.5m, it should contain 1600 plants.
Now I provided you with the calculation for one hectare to make it easier for you to understand in case you need to expand or plant more than one plot of land.
To get the number of plantains that you need to plant on one plot of land, all you need do is to DIVIDE the total number of plants for 1 hectare depending on your choice of spacing BY „15 PLOTS“ which makes up a hectare.
2. At what month should I plant the sucker? Note: my Land is not a water area
Planting your plantain suckers in the rainy season months of May, June, July, and August can be beneficial to the growth of the plantain plants because of the abundance of water.
3. When should I apply NPK fertilizer?
The application of fertilizer should start 1 month after planting of plantains or with the first rains in an already existing field. The fertilizer is applied around the main plant in a circle about 50 cm in diameter. Fertilizer is not worked into the soil as that causes extensive damage to the superficial root system. No fertilizer is applied in the dry season.

4. What other plants can I plant with plantain?
Plantains and bananas can be intercropped with other crops like coffee, cocoa, maize, beans, sweet potatoes, cocoyam, etc. However, ensure to provide them with the adequate and required spacing in order to accommodate them all.

Agric4ProfitsAdministratorYes, the Green Thread plant (Thelesperma filifolium), which is often used traditionally for its medicinal properties, can be used to create a tincture. You can use vodka or glycerin as a solvent.
Regarding the process, simply soak the dried plant material in the solvent for 4-6 weeks, shake daily, and then strain.
Meanwhile, I have to bring your attention to the fact that scientific studies are limited in relation to this Greenthread plant at the moment, despite the traditional support for its use considering its potential benefits. Hence, I strongly suggest that you always start with a small dose and consult a healthcare professional for proper guidance.
I included some images of the plant in my response so that you can compare them with your plants to ensure that we are discussing the same plant for proper identification.
Agric4ProfitsAdministratorThank you so much sir, and we are glad that you find our article very helpful.
Agric4ProfitsAdministratorGood day, and thanks for reaching out!
For the sake of others who would like to know about the horse mackerel fish, the horse mackerel (also known as jack mackerel) is a popular fish found in many oceans worldwide, as shown in the image below.
Now to answer your questions:
1. When it comes to selling horse mackerel commercially, the ideal size usually ranges from 15 to 30 centimeters, which is about 6 to 12 inches in length. This size is generally preferred by buyers and markets because, within those sizes, the fish are mature enough to have a good amount of meat without being too large, which can make them less desirable. Therefore, the above-mentioned sizes are often the most commonly preferred sizes for both fresh markets and processing.
2. Regarding how long it takes for a horse mackerel to reach this size, it usually takes about 1 to 3 years to reach a size suitable for commercial sale, depending on environmental conditions such as water temperature and food availability. Their growth rates can vary based on factors like the availability of food, water temperature, and the overall environmental conditions.
At this size, the weight of a horse mackerel is usually between 150 and 300 grams, which is about 5 to 10 ounces. This weight range is equally optimal for processing and selling, as it balances size and ease of handling.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
