The formula for figuring the hanging ratio is:
Hanging Ratio (%) = (Stretched length of netting – Length of netting) / Stretched length of netting.
The shape of the mesh is greatly influenced by the hanging ratio. Multiply the stretch mesh size by the number of mesh deep and by the percentage height to get the total height of the net. Multiply the stretch mesh size by the number of mesh long and by the percentage length to get the total length of the net.
