Flowers should be refrigerated and kept in water to keep them fresh, usually in glass or plastic vases or other containers.
Most shops have a refrigerator/chiller cabinet/cooler near the front of the shop/store with large glass doors so customers can see what’s inside. Flowers should be kept away from heat and bright light in the home.
Some people believe that placing a vase of flowers on a sunny windowsill (window sill) is the best place for a plant to thrive. Cut flowers, on the other hand, are the polar opposite of potted plants. They are at their peak of perfection.
