1. The Persian / Longhair cat

This long-haired Persian type of cat has a small, rounded face and a broad head, is a breed that was originated from Iran. Its average lifespan is between 12 and 17 years, and it has a thick coat, big eyes, and a short nose.

2. The Bengal cat

The Bengal cat was developed originally in the United States. This cat is a hybrid of a domestic cat and a leopard cat from Asia.

Swirly marbled and the common spotted pattern are their two main fur patterns. They have a white belly, and they typically live between 14 and 16 years.

3. Burmese Cat

Also known as the British Burmese or American Burmese. This cat was developed in Thailand. They normally appear in two forms: an American form and a British form.

The American ones are shorter and broader with a flat muzzle and have an average life span of 10–17 years, whereas the British ones are long and slim.

4. The Scottish Fold

The Scottish Fold is also known as Scot Fold, Lops, and Folds, which are originated from Scotland. This breed can weigh up to 4-6 kg and is a medium-sized cat.

With an average lifespan of 11 to 15 years, the coat can be either long or short, and the ears can either be normal or folded.

5. The Sphynx cat

7. The American Bobtail

14. Cornish Rex

It has the softest coat of any of the the cat species, this breed has an average lifespan of 10 to 15 years.

15. California Spangled Cat

California is where this breed first originated. In appearance, this breed resembles a leopard. Its average lifespan is 9 to 16 years, and it has a spotted, muscular body with thick whisker pads.

16. The Cymric cat

25. Tabby cat
